camera cannot start (sharpcap2)

In sharpcap2 I have just got the error that " camera cannot start, incorrect parameter". This is the built in webcam on my HP laptop. It has always worked before and my phillips spc still works but the built in HP one does'nt. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be. I have checked the driver but windows says it has got the best allready installed Thank you in advance....Geoff

Have you re-booted? Does the inbuilt webcam work with ofter software? Is there a light next to the webcam to suggest it is working or not? Have you run windows update to see if anything needs updating?

Turned on the laptop, started up sharpcap and lo and behold the camera now works, maybe the reeboot did it ?
