First time I've had the Coronado PST out under a cloudless sky without dodging the clouds! Just a shame those magnificent proms have gone!

2 versions of the same shot taken with colour QHY5L-II again using the drift method to capture the whole disk without needing a mosaic.

Thanks Michael are you referring to the lack of contrast on the right hand side? I've noticed this on all my images. How do you go about tuning its something I know nothing about?

Pete I can get about 90% of the disk on screen in one shot so I shift the image with the hand control during capture and then select "expand" in AS!2 so it stacks the whole disk.

Very interesting! so i am thinking that i could probably do a 2 frame mosaic using this technique.

I suppose it depends how long your avis are Pete. I can get the extra 10% in a 20-30 sec avi but if the avi is much longer I would imagine you could cover even more area provided you don't move too quickly.
