Hi,

Taken last night after realising that night would be clear despite forecast for otherwise. Perhaps having a half Moon so close and going for OSC was a foolish choice as the colours were really washed out and with very little saturation but here it is anyway.

30 X 450s, WO Star71, Atik 428EX C, IDAS D1 and HEQ5. Processed mainly in PI and PS.

The moon was mighty close. I pottered out last Thursday night to continue with this one and thought, nope, too much moon.* So in the circumstances you've got lots of image out of this!

Well.......under light polluted skies I have EXCLUSIVE proof that aliens exist- I accidentally photographed an inter galactic war- you can see the laser targeting sights on the invisible alien craft as they fight a savage battle for supremacy- just another photograph that can go into the X-files archives......sigh (you might need to open the full picture to see the laser targeting)

Thank you both Olly and lee. I only wish that I had the patience to deal effectively with noise. Your nice comments are very well appreciated. I may start counting the fuzzies in the original sub to see if Lee was right.
