Gx in Virgo + CVn

Short session trying mono Lodestar-Mx2 in "progressive" mode via SX s/w for apparent higher resolution and also in my favoured "fast" [1x2 binned mode] which makes the camera much more sensitive by a factor of maybe x2. Used my obsy Meade Classic LX200 30cm @ f/4 SCT here in SW London.

M87 [30s exp] in Virgo is a giant elliptical gx famous for its jet [6s exp inset], offset to included gx NGC 4476/4478 to west. Two remote gx in M87 halo.

NGC 4429 [120s exp] gx Virgo @ 53 MLY - first time recorded.

M106 CVn [90s exp] hints at H2 regions, offset to include bright edge-on blue [sloan DSS] gx top right.

M63 CVn [120s exp] "The Sunflower Gx". Apparently x300 further away behind the core at 7.4 BLY is mag18 Quasar 1313+422.

M3 CVn [30s exp] fine bright globular.
