That is very promising imagesome nice detail showing, but there is some red dots along the left hand side of the disc. Are these from a miss-aligned "R" channel?

They are due to WinJupos de-rotation and combination of the different channels, it sometimes leave artifacts at the limb.

Is that using it to derotate and combine all in one go?  I have never been brave enough to try Winjupos is it easy to learn?

Yes it was de-rotation and combine. I don't use most of the features, I mainly use the de-rotate RGB, which also requires image measurement. I have tried avi de-rotate but find I get better images with shorter 1min avis with high gain. For example with Jupiter I'm using an exposure of 9 - 10 ms and a gain of 90 on my ASI120MM, 8" SCT and 2.5x powermate and stack 5000 of the approx 6000 frames.
