Recommended Posts

after an little nap i woke up and went in the back garden and just looked up and seen the moon waxing cresent in the distance so it was time to get the skywatcher 114p out for the 2nd time and wow for what the moon is showing i can see the moon craters this was fantastic to look at   . the 1st time i took it out two nights ago i was just messing and i seen a shooting stars in the distance .this is now making me think about upgrading to an better telescope, i was looking at the sky-watcher explorer -200p (eq5 pro synscan) model its in my range of price but means saving for a month or two at the most . am definitely want to take photo's and prob look deeper in the night sky .would this sky-watcher 200p do the job ?

I believe the 200 p-ds is more suited to imaging.

Im trying to decide

A. What i want to do most

B. P or p-ds

Or

C. Have a 200p for obs and a small imaginf refractor such as an ed 80

All when funds allow :)

Sorry wasnt much help but ill watch this thread with interest
