Its like a huge bonfire moving before my very eyes. Whispy plasma above it also. Been watching post flare loops nearby,so i reckon that set the prom off. You must get out if you can.

The base still seems to be twisting and twisting. Plasma slowing dispersing from the top.

Thats an erupting prom.....2 M class flares....2 post flare loops and an EFR with an AFS within it. All in one day

Plasma seems to be falling back in a very complex way. So much detail, this is going to be around a while yet.

Dying a death now but the loop is growing strong. Its all kicking off today,especially on the limb.

I can confirm that there was a M class 2.2 flare just over the east limb (seen the post flare loops as posted earlier)

I think this prompted the eruption of the prom. Seemed to NOT reach escape velocity thus most of the plasma was drawn back down too the surface.

I always keep a watch for active regions just going off the limb or coming round the limb on the opposite side. This gives the chance to see something spectacular if the AR kicks off.

I was watching this earlier at around 12pm. There was what seemed like a flare on the limb and a lot of mobile high, detailed loops. Stunning to watch. Seems like it developed even further as time went on!
