Hello I've just retired and am excited about getting back into scanning the skies. I've ground small RFT telescope mirrors and presently using another small telescope with binoculars.

Last evening I looked at the Beehive cluster and really enjoyed doing so with binoculars. Have any of you used the Orion Shoreview Pro 10 X 40? I'm thinking about purchasing a pair-- my wonderful but old 7 X 50 is just too heavy.
