Suggested Mount for an 8" Newtonian

I am considering the purchase of an Orion Optics VX8 but as I live in the US it does not make mch sense for me to purchase the mount from them and then have it shipped across the ocean.

I would like to use the scope initially for visual but later, as I save more money, have something that I can use for astrophotography. Therefore I am considering order

therefore I am cosidering ordering the scope with the PV/10 optics.

With that in mind I am trying to determine which mount to purchase. I have found both positive and negative reviews of the Orion Atlas/Skywatcher HEQ6 as well as others. I would like to find a mount that is light enough to be portable but stable enough for astrophotography later. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to SGL.

I have this very scope and for visual I use a Vixen GP which equates to a Sirius/CG5 on your side of the pond.

I am no imager but I suspect you made need an Atlas for this.
