Remove Line filter in AstroArt 5.0

Recommended Posts

I continue to stack and calibrate in AstroArt 5.0 because it is clean, fast, simple and transparent with all the bells and whistles, like column repair, hot pixel etc. However, I just made another nice discovery; there is a 'remove line' filter which I had wrongly assumed would only work on vertical or horizontal lines. Not so, however. You click on each end of, say, a sat trail and it either vanishes or is vastly diminished. This means that it is even more likely to vanish entirely when the repaired sub is put into a sigma stack, or even just a median one. Very useful. Don't miss it!
