This is with the ASI174 I take it, that's going great guns too. Are you using any gain? Just wondering how dark your image is with the 0.3A of the Solar Spectrum without gain?

Cheers Luke. I use a bit more gain, but I am surprised at how bright the image really is. Much depends on transparency but I can generally use 7.5 ms exposures at a gain of 100-150.

Thanks for the info, Michael, similar to what I am using, 7.5ms for a nice fast frame rate, then gain to whatever it needs to be.

I think I am at about 100 to 220 for gain depending on conditions and reducer/barlow strength with my Tele Vue 60.
