I don't like the moon, however...

I've been out lately to capture some galaxies, but with the moon in the neighborhood faint objects are easily washed out. So in desperation I pointed my scope to the culprit. 20 images at 800 ISO 1/500sec stacked with Registax 6.

The moon is always a satisfying target  !

I was out last night with my Skyliner 200P,  taking pics of the moon and Jupiter... but using my iPhone, which is passable lol but I really need to borrow my Dad's SLR to achieve anything like your fantastic photo!

I should thank you all for your kind comments. I have the scope now for just under 2 month and I must say, I'm loving it. I always thought you need longer focal lengths to get good pictures of the moon.

Thanks again and clear skies (something we don't have at the moment).
