Hi all,

today we had storm, rain and clouds all over the day. Watching the satellite pictures this evening, I hoped to catch at least a small gap in the clouds for lunar sketching. Due to the bad and uncertain weather conditions, I quickly grabbed the 76/300 Heritage MiniDob. Actually, the gap was even smaller as hoped and lasted just twentyfive minutes before the next shower came down. So I had to do the final five minutes of the sketch inside and took small help of a lunar Photo here to do draw Copernicus and Tycho at their correct positions. I hope you don't treat this as cheating...

Telescope: Skywatcher Heritage 76/300

Eyepiece: Skywatcher Planetary 5mm

Date & Time: March 31th, 2130-2200 CEST

Place: home terrace, Dusseldorf region, Germany

Technique: chalk, charcoal and white pastel on black sketching cardbox paper.
