Hi everyone, my name is Francesco 

I live in Yorkshire and there are quite good dark sites at no more than half an hour drive.

I hope to find help and guidance from all of you.

I was a guest that has decided to buy a beginner telescope a couple of months ago. I have a Skywatcher skyhawk 500/114mm f/4,7ish on a very basic eq1 mount. I've had beautiful views of the Moon and some Messiers but to be honest I've been struggling with the mount that is a bit messy to use for me

I am going to sell this scope (bought second hand) because I've just bought a second hand helios 200 newtonian with no mount. I plan to build a dobsonian mount for it and finding my way towards the sky with the lately purchased "Turn left at Orion" book.

Thanks for having me here, I will start a new post right now because the above telescope needs something. :)
