Huge looping prom on the Sun's SW rim

Despite the strong wind I was able to set up the PST with Pentax zoom. There is a huge looping prom at about 220/250 degrees - magnificant sight. Together with sunspot 2305 another nice prom nearby. Have a look if you can.

I just managed to get a 15 minute session in Mark, what a wonderful sight indeed  wonderful detail in the proms.

Can you just imagine what the 30 degrees temperature Rob is experiencing .....it cant be bad. (in the morning )

I had a try earlier but wind was howling plus the occasional quick shower so gave up. CO says clear later tonight, fingers crossed the wind drops a bit.

yes it was a great sight today in the howling wind and it looks like it's still going on as I have just checked gong,perhaps we could get a further view tomorrow
