NGC 2359, Thor's Helmet

NGC 2359 or Thor's Helmet is an emission nebula in Canis Major.
Data for this image was taken with two 1m telescopes (1m-04 and 1m-05) at CTIO (Cerro Tololo, Chile) operated by the Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope (LCOGT) Network.
For this image I used publicly available data from the LCOGT Science Archive. The following filters were used:
R for Red (21x5 mins), V for Green (21x5 mins) and B for Blue (21x5 mins). W band data (21x5 mins) was also mixed into the Luminance channel. Colors in this image are not a true RGB representation.  This picture is at 63% of the original resolution.
Thanks for looking.

Lovely image Ajay, thanks for posting, I've had a go at this target a few times over the years but it's always quite low down from my location so can't get very good data, nice to see what is really there if only I could capture it. :)
