Astro Imp
As some of you will have read earlier I have really become hooked on the moon and for a change I have enjoyed three nights in a row of clear skies. Some time ago I started the luna 100 and have been enjoying the challenge, having something to aim at instead of idly just looking has greatly improved what I have seen. Two examples from last night were the crater Lamont and Arago Alpha and Beta. Without being directed to them by the luna 100 I would never have seen either of these features as to me they were not at all obvious and needed looking for. I managed to find both with the help of the Virtual Moon Atlas and the excellent sticky posted by Doc at the head of this section. Thanks Doc, your thread is a great help when looking for some of the less obvious sites.BTW I have now managed to visit 67 out of the 100 objects.
