Heq5 with EQmod

Hi,

I have Heq5 mount which I'm using for imaging with eqmod software, recently the mount started doing strange movements, some times and after a long time of autoguiding it moves suddenly with no obvious reason and it continues moving slowly until I turn it off !

Any idea please?

whats your PHD guiding graph look like? if its good, make sure your guide scope is tightened up as surprisingly they come loose quite often, well mine does, think from the vast changes in hot and cold temps when you take it out for use, then back home into the warm
