Each image in this sequence was taken using my Coronado Solarmax II 60 BF10 telescope and ZWO ASI120mm camera.

Shot from my back garden in Mansfield, England, imaging was cut short by a solid bank of cloud that rolled in just as maximum for my area was about to happen.

Though even the clouds didn't entirely ruin the moment

This was my first ever eclipse, and the sky dimming, the day getting that little bit chillier was a wonderful thing to experience, and audible gasps and wows would have been easily heard by neighbours!

Indeed, whilst not my finest images of the Sun and that dust bunny (image is inverted, so appears lighter in the sequence) is driving me a little mad, I must confess, this sequence has been one of the happiest things I've done with my telescope and now want to travel to the US for the 2017 total eclipse!

Yes, very nice shots. Shame about getting some clouds but you got better views than most. Good stuff.
