Some of you at SGLX may have heard me swearing about a certain delivery company and import duties, and chuckled at my increasing frustration as they pestered me, their website broke, my phone ran out of battery charge... I did eventually manage to get the duties paid from the field.

And indeed when I arrived back at work I discovered they had charged my reception for the fees I had already paid - more chasing to get a refund, more mutter-grumbling...

Well finally I've got the delivery home and unpacked, and all grumbling has stopped.

:D:):D

I think I may sip Glenfiddich from the Sun tonight!

PS: Yes, the little one is Pluto. "Also included are the sun, and Pluto. We knew that would make you happy." :)

I pushed the boat out tonight for my birthday and am sipping a 12 yr old Glenfiddiich from a waterford chrystal tumbler. I'd much prefer to be drinking from the Sun.

They're from thinkgeek. I was pointed towards them in early Dec, but they'd sold out and when I signed up for stock alerts by email they said they were expecting more in March :-o

Well come March I got an email saying they had 10 sets and had chosen people at random to email back, hurry up if you want them etc - so I jumped in :D

All of which is a long winded way of saying, they came from here https://www.thinkgeek.com/product/2033/ but they'll be out of stock.

WOAH you may be in luck they have stock, go go go!

It's $50 but then another $40 postage and I got hit for £20 import duty.

In the meantime, I'm also on Glenfiddich 12 tonight (despite Nick's naysaying ;) ) so I'll raise a sun to your health Paul - Happy Birthday :D

I feel a bit the outsider weighing in on such weighty matters from across the pond, but I do have a very nice Balvenie Double Wood 12 yr that would go mighty fine in that Sun glass you've got there.  I hope that's not also considered paint stripper over there - else I may have to come over and sample some of your paint strippers :)

Out of stock. Mid-May they will have more in.

I have an unopened bottle of 1991 bottled 2007 Glen Moray distillers choice bottle 395 of 1115  that I would open for Pluto.

Well dayum. You're a bit far away from me, but should you be passing Bristol... ;) ;) :D

The weather has turned too nasty for astro ...

... so ...

... tonight's Pluto of Balvenie DoubleWood is sliding down rather nicely :D

Well I must compliment you, sirrah, on what is clearly a highly evolved taste in Whisky!  I personally am doing my part tonight to support the good folk of Dufftown, Banffshire as well. Here's to ya - first one's one me :)
