There were a number of small flares yesterday.  I just happened to catch one associated with active region 12305.  AVI original stacked in Registax 6.

Lunt 80mm Solar Telescope (single stack), with DMK-21 mono camera.  Before Flare is at 13:21 PM local (EDST), and is the best 250/2500 frames @ 30FPS; second image is at 13:36 PM, and is the best 51/510 frames.  I took a few video sequences, then went after prominences for a few minutes, and when I returned to the large sunspots, there was a flare underway -- cool!

OOPS!  Noob mistake.

I meant to post this under Solar Imaging, not Lunar & Solar Observing, but what the heck -- its still solar, so here it shall remain.
