Caps for FilterWheel

I recently received my SX Filter wheel. It has the T threads fore and aft.  But I was surprised it didn't ship with caps of any type.  Once loaded with my filters, I think it would be wise to cover this when not in use. Anyone have a cheap solution for this?

The ziplock and dessicant sounds good, but not elegant.   Going back to Jeff's original post, it is a shame that the manufacturers do not provide covers from new - especially if you are fully loaded with £ 600+ of filters!

Be careful with the desiccant type. Some bags allow broken silica desicant to filter through. Desicant in that state is vicious stuff as very sharp particles! On treated glass surfaces will produce some micro scratches a over time can completely ruin the surface coatings. The desicant tends to crack under heating to replenish its absorbant properties.

I found  these:  http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p5865_Baader-T2-Protection-cap-for-female-T2-thread.html

They are perfect, but not offered at any dealer in my country. And 33 euro shipping fee to the US is a bit of a premium.  I was hoping someone had found that some commonly available item works great as a cap on a T thread. Like the old trick of using a plastic Film canister to make a collimating eyepiece.

Just as Jake says, I'll have $655 in 7 little thin pieces of glass, I'd prefer to take care of them.  I guess this is yet another reason to build an Obsy. But as I sit here and type this I may have come upon something.  Since I will no longer be using my DSLR and the Canon bayonet to T thread adapter has a plastic lens cap on it I can use that on the male side of the FW. Now to find a cap with M48 threads that mate to the T thread to 2" adapter.....

Maybe Fleabay??  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Five-High-Quality-Dust-Caps-for-1-25-Telescope-Eyepieces-or-Others-Brand-New-/181186616439  (Just Googled them - I've no idea if they are any good!!!)

Also Astroboot  http://www.astroboot.co.uk/AstroBoot/telescope-and-astronomy-stuff.html?needle=1.25  scroll down to find male/female caps and plugs.  Again usual disclaimer!
