Loop prominence 06-03-2015

A couple of animated gifs of the loop prominence yesterday.  The first one was captured between 09:37 - 10:09 (38 frames), and the second one, taken through thickening cloud, between 12:26 - 13:12 (54 frames).  Unfortunately the flats didn't remove the newton rings.

Good animation and image despite the Newton rings and rust on the mini ERF (I have heard these can be replaced by Baader 35nm H-alpha filters)

Brilliant Angie. The little bright 'splash' towards the end has come out really well, just looks like someone threw a planet sized pebble in to the sun.
