Moon - 99.4% Illuminated - 04/03/2015

After taking the mount apart to deal with backlash on Saturday, last night was the first opportunity to test it, albeit with a near full moon.

Before setting up to test guiding though, I couldn't resist a go at the moon - my last attempt being over 3 years ago.

It's a stack of 27 images taken at 1/3200s. I've probably overdone the wavelets and brightness but I'm quite happy with it anyway.

I'd cut the wavelets down a bit but focus looks bang on.

I've had a re-stack and re-process and toned the wavelets down quite a bit - not sure if there's much difference though?

Do I need to go further?
