Venus/Uranus Conjunction, did anyone see it?

...And if so did anyone image it. I was setting up to try and capture it when the clouds rolled in. Gutted .

Didn't manage to image it. But very happy to get my first look at Uranus through the scope...

I was observing Venus and Uranus, sorry I don't do imaging, but if you have a look

in the imaging section tonight I am sure someone will have manage to capture it.

Yes, saw it though my little ED70 and also tried a widefield shout with my Canon 650D on a 300mm lens...have yet to look at the images.

We have had 3 clear night in the Fens in a row...some sort of record I think. It makes my 2nd conjuction this year.

Yep - saw the conjunction through my SkyMax 150 but no attempt at capturing image. The evening before in freezing windy conditions I scanned between Mars and Venus with 8x42 binoculars and looked for Uranus. Due to the brightness/glare of Venus, my eyes were only able to pick out Uranus in averted vision.

Tried and failed with my 15 x 70's. Although the aforementioned clouds hadn't quite rolled in at that point for my location, there seemed to be a very thin mist covering Venus - dampening the glare but shutting out my view of Uranus as well .

Quick question : how close do two objects need to be to count as a conjunction?

Nice one guys, bit upset I missed this one to be honest as I've never seen Uranus before. Oh well roll on clear nights.

Clear at sunset, but the clouds raced in faster than darkness fell I was lifting the scope out and had to turn around...

My widefield shot did not come out, as expected the brighter Venus outshine the poor dim Uranus. I can just about make out a wee blip of Uranus.
