EOS Utils, Camera not recongnised

My 1100D connect to the PC fine, it is seen and can be accessed but EOS Utils is not recognising the camera.

Win 7 32bit.

Im not sure on the version of utils as it is not open long enough to check, and the install in the control panel has no version next to it, however the eos capture is version 1.3 if that helps?

This is actuall a non astro related application for this camera, however it covers astro as well.

I'd be tempted to uninstall and reinstall...Then grab the update from Canon for the 1100d. I had problems trying to use my 450d EOSutils install with my 60d. I can't remember, but the reverse may also have been true.

Thanks, uninstall and clean reinstall problem solved, daft i didn't think of that in the  first place LOL

It's worth going to get the latest EOS utility update from canon http://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/products/cameras/digital_slr/eos_1100d.aspx as it has fixes for your OS etc...
