Hello. I am 15 and although I'm young I've been fascinated by planets and space for years.

I recently got a Celestron Powerseeker 50AZ for Christmas, and since it's cold and snowy in Montreal, I have only used it once to look at the moon, which was beautiful!

There's still a lot I don't know and I have hundreds maybe thousands of questions, and I don't know anyone as fascinated by astronomy as myself,but then one day I came across this site and I found so many people like myself, regardless of age.

Hi ilovespace and welcome to SGL, age is no barrier to becoming involved in Astronomy as a hobby. I was a few years younger than you, when I took an interest and that is more years ago than I care to recount now, but one statement you have made still holds true to-day, "There is still a lot I don`t know", enjoy the learning curve :)
