Just ordered the 2nd part (shed 2) of observatory

I have had to rethink the dome after the winds last night (25+mph gusts of 30)

Also security a dome looks like it has expensive kit inside

I was work on the shed roof today and I was have a rest with a cup of tea thinking about a pier and how high will it need to be then I look at the old washing line post one of the concrete (1930-1940's).

It's on of my round tuit so I started to dig it out went down about 50cm and it was get lose so I pushed and puled then It started to crack near the base some old reinforcing had rusted way.

So cutting one of the reinforcing rods I now have a post about 1.90m long 10x10cm at the top 15x15cm at the base.

The plan is the about 50x50x50cm put the post in the hole and fill with concrete give me a post high of about 1.4m.

Just got to work out how to attach the mount
