WL Sun on the last day of Feb, through a brief gap in the Clouds

Last day of another good 'grab and go' astronomy month. 21 days out of 28 capturing something, from the Sun and Moon, to conjunctions, planets, detail on other moons and a comet.

A nice warm, sharp Sun taken this morning in what seemed to be good seeing. As Dr Robin mentioned elsewhere in the Solar section, the clear sky didn't last long in the North East. A few spot groups are starting to grow on the disc that has been quiet for several days. My usual white light with the Nikon D50, x2 Teleconverter and 80ED scope. 246 images taken, cropped in PIPP, with 65 stacked in Registax v5.1, wavelets applied and then finished in GIMP. Surprised at the seeing considering the Jetstream forecast.
