7 Pane Lunar Mosaic 26th Feb 2015

First light with my ASI120MM-S upgraded from the ASI120MM. Got an average of 62 fps at full resolution which was quite good. This is a 7 pane mosaic with my C9.25 mounted on an EQ8. I used a 742nm IR-Pass filter. Quite pleased with the result.

Very nice images Ian. The 120mm-s really is a nice camera.  I like to look of the new 174 as well, but think I will wait, as no doubt the 174mm-S will be out soon enough (well thats what happened with the 120) ;-)

Just noticed your 800 has a smashed corrector...how on earth did that happen?

I dropped it on concrete :-)

I looked at the 174 but the pixel size was quite big and a bit more than I wanted to spend. The upgrade from the 120mm to 120mm-s was definately worth it for lunar.
