Actually had big enough gaps in the clouds to capture 1500 frames in one go, the Skyris 274 only runs at 20fps so need good gaps.

Done my usual hatchet job in P'Shop, also took separate proms vid' but just made a pigs ear of trying to combine them so given up for today.

Why is it my attempts never come out like the tutorials

Nice image. Your best off addapting the tutorials to suit your own image i found following that one to the dot sharpened my images to much. Still a good one though

Another good one Dave, glad to see someone is making use of the short gaps.

Sadly, I am too busy at work to take my scope in, so solar imaging has become a weekend activity, or not depending on the weather.  That said, I might have got the only gap this morning.

I agree with Craig about adapting the methods from tutorials, problem is you never settle and always change things up or a new piece of software comes along.

Just tried combining proms and surface, ah you have much to learn glasshopper
