NGC4490/NGC4485 Cocoon Galaxy

Hi.

Imaged last night with my ED 80 Scopes,and HX916 ccd cameras.

This pair of interacting Glaxies are to be found in the constellation of Canes Venatici.

Its an LRGB image,where each filter had 12x600 secs of exposure.

Darks were applied,but no flats.

Alighned in Registar,and processed in Photo-shop.

Minimal processing was done,due to its small scale in my scopes.

Thanks Nathan,a lot of these Galaxies are being ignored,because they don't have the wow factor,people respond to,i,m trying include a few,that might deserve a second look.

I agree, it's good to go off the beaten track once in a while.

Myself I'm waiting for the Antenae Galaxy to rise high enough in the South, even so it'll be a roof scraper
