DougM43
If the contrast/ brightness sliders aren't giving you what you want I've found you can use the gamma function to make the image brighter or darker.
Steve Ward
Save your image as PNG before posting , that way it'll show in the post automatically and we will not have to download an 'unknown' file just to see it ...
theghettostylus
I will remember that for next time!!! Didn't realise it would have to be downloaded. I will have a look at saving it as PNG.I don't think its a bad photo considering I used my webcam and phone to capture the video. Just wish I could zoom out and get the full moon in view. Thanks for the replies!
RichM63
Just wish I could zoom out and get the full moon in view.Simples, just move to somewhere further away. The wavelet sliders are a personal thing. I have one image of the Moon in about 20 different itterations all different results.Jupiter can be tricky at the best of times, with 'seeing' issues.Best,Rich

Registax wavelet function is very aggressive. Try the same data in AS2!.
Steve Ward
But AS!2 is purely a stacking program , it doesn't have a sharpening function , people stack in AS!2 and then load the stacked image into Reg for it's Wavelets.Be very gentle with the sliders , especially the lower four large radius ones . theghettostylus
I have heard about the other stacking programme, need to remind myself to give it a try next time the laptop is on, I think the main issue was the video file just wasn't good enough, you can't polish a [removed word] aha I have had better success with Jupiter since but thank you for all the replies!!!!! ArmyAirForce
Set the Wavelet Filter to 'Gaussian' & 'Linear', ( NOT Default and Dyadic ), they are much more subtle settings.
