After reading quite a bit on this forum for quite some time now, I thought it was about time to actually start participating by posting as well ;)

So Hi there! :)

I'm Chris, from the Netherlands and focus on astrophotography. I also maintain a blog dedicated to DSLR astrophotography, basically posting my own learning experience on there as well as some interviews with other astrophotographers that use a DSLR.

Currently using Nikon D7000 for my imaging, but recently purchased an upgrade (D600) as well as a secondary body I want to modify (Nikon D5100). My D7000 will then do the timelapsing.

I own a NEQ6 and Newton 200mm F5 and a TS Quadruplet 80/480 as well as an Astrotrac. 

Due to the well known clouds and bad weather (and light polution of course), I focus on trips to darker skies. Last year I went to La Palma and this year I will be heading to Namibia in July.
