I used a QHY8 OS on an 8"F4 Newt guided with Phd.

Only 12x3mins exposures.

I've also now got some coloured frames which I'm going to add to it.

Yes that's coming along very nicely.

Propus (or its Persian name Pish Pai as I prefer to call it) is an absolute beast when trying to shoot the Jellyfish; and it's a red giant too so is prominent even in the Ha signal.  I managed to calm it down by keeping an unstretched (or gently stretched) version of the image, allowing a circle covering the stretched star and any halo to show through a layer mask in PS, and adjusting brightness and contrast of the unstretched star to match the stretched version.  This needs to be done separately on each channel before any colour combine...
