Saw Cassiopeia tonight

Spotted Cassiopeia tonight well happy not far awy from amdromder then it started to snow down here in brighton so I could not have a look at amdromder had to come in lol hope every one had a good view tonight

Well done. You'll find that Cassiopeia, with its distinctive shape, is a real signpost throughout the year. Could you make out the double cluster to its lower left? In darkish skies this is lovely.

Check out the Owl Cluster (see right) and Caroline's Rose.

I find myself having a quick romp around Casiopeia most sessions.

Cassiopeia is one of the great northern constellations, packed full of goodies and a great signpost to the northern sky.
