Celestron Travel scope 70

Recommended Posts

I've just bought the above scope to use along side my Celestron astromaster 130eq with motor drive.

I'm planning on using the travel scope for imaging, planets and lunar mainly.

I've also bought a camera adapter for my digital camera (unfortunately not  a fancy DSLR) and I have a couple of webcams I've modded to fit the scopes.

Has anyone used this setup?

If so, can you offer any hints or tips?  any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all in advance!

i've got one piggybacked on my newt that I use as a guidescope and it works fine for that.  Not used it for anything else though.

Ah cool, I'm hoping to piggyback the scope onto my main scope.  Would you be able to put up a pic so I can see your setup?
