New 18 mm Celestron X-Cel LX eyepiece

Just acquired a new 18mm eyepiece - Celestron X-Cel LX (the usual excellent help and rapid service from FLO). I really like this eyepiece, good eye relief, good field of view and sharp almost edge to edge.

My main favourite was a 32mm Plossl, this is now sharing time with the 18mm - a great purchase and a great view through it.

Hi xyz, I have not tried the X-Cel-LX's but I have always found the 18mm focal length most versatile on many objects.

I have a set of Ultimas and one is the 18mm . It's very nice especially without the barlow but works well with the barlow . Congratulations on your buy . When you do some more star gazing be sure and follow up how things were with the EP .
