HitecAstro has contacted us to say a safety issue has been identified with the cigarette-plug fitted to a number of their 'HitecAstro four-channel four-port Dew Controllers' which could potentially cause it to overheat in use. 

If you purchased one from us and your order number is included in the list below please stop using it immediately then contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange a new replacement and collection of the faulty unit.

In our case only stock that was 'dispatched' from the 16th December 2014 onwards had the wrong plug.

I have no way of knowing how our competitors were effected (depends how much stock they ordered and when). Best to contact your supplier for advice.
