Hi,

I'm writing from Lisbon, Portugal and for a long time that i read articles about space from the discovery channel page.

About a year ago or so my interest got a lot deeper about astronomy, and thus here i am.

On my birthday i got a Astromaster 130 EQ and a DSLR for astrophotography, but i have not taken any photo yet.

I have seen Jupiter thought, or just a big bright white spot, was amazing non the less.

Hi Fredman, Welcome to the lounge. I'm glad you had a good experience viewing Jupiter, it's sometimes nice to get out even if you don't see anything you planned on. There are plenty of people around here that are more qualified than I to help with getting the most out of your camera. So I'll stay away from that one

Hi Fredman and welcome to SGL, if you are intending to pursue your interests in Astro Photography, I would strongly recommend you obtain a copy of Steve`s book, http://www.skyatnightimages.co.uk regarded by many forum members, as essential reading for those wanting to go down that route :)

Thank you and I'll definitely read it [emoji1] thanks
