This was Taken at 30 Fps. The seeing at this point was far from calm. As such I am quite surprised I have so much detail in the image. I was trying to process it so it was smooth and natural but with as much detail as I could get out. Not sure  its the best process I can do on this. I will keep this for further playing with, until I get better avis, under hopefully better seeing.  This was taken at the same point as the avi I posted on the other thread, clearly the seeing has some major disturbance. Don't want to count my chickens, been there done that. But I am starting to feel a bit more upbeat after this. this was a 1.5 x slightly downsized

Looks great Neil...plenty of fine detail evident. I bet you are hoping for some good seeing now!! I notice a bluish hue in your images recently, I assume this could be the stretching processes messing with the colour as we spoke about a few weeks back. Still very nice though and glad your feeling optimistic and excited about planetary imaging again.

Yes Pete its really me pushing the processing, if I don't add blue everything ends up looking Red, which I dislike even more. If I had a great RGB I could do less drastic stuff for a nice natural colour. I am sure theres a work around, in what I am doing. But Pushing contrast and saturation is making it a bit hit and miss for me.

I will try and get better colour, if I get any better data. perhaps one pushed hard and one more natural.

Cheers Simmo

went out tonight Stuart seeing was the pits worse than the other day. I actually was standing there right at the end,  with the  mouse in my hand, raising and dropping the gain as cloud was passing over nuts I know. But again the optics looked a real lot better.

It wasn't any better down here - I caught 2hrs mush between 1 and 3. Might have another play tomorrow night [emoji6]

Yeah it was the pits Jake. I started late, then cloud came over. I only got some at the end. But It was rubbish. shooting through cloud, and jet streams.

Clearly the scope seems to be doing better though. Even bad seeing and it can cut through. That's what It used to be like

.

Here' a snatched red at the end when there was gaps in the cloud. You can see its below average.

That is a very encouraging result from such lousy conditions [emoji3] Really looks like that will deliver as soon as it comes good.

I hate counting chickens Jake, it has a way of pecking me on the butt.

But how can I not be encouraged. Its been horrible recently Thinking my old workhorse was dead. :embarrassed:  If I get the results I want. it will end a pretty horrible couple of months.

Must say over and over, I am not counting. I am not counting I am not
