Please use this thread to showcase your best images captured during 2014. Just one post per member but you can include up to 5 images if you want.

The thread is for all imagers novices and advanced. 

Please keep details to a minimum - scope and camera possibly along with a few comments.

The thread needs to be packed with images so please don't respond to the postings

Haven't done much, but did get my first two mosaics:

March 9, first ever complete mosaic

Celestron C8 at prime focus, ASI130MM camera, 33 pane mosaic, captured with FireCapture, stacking in AutoStakkert! 2, wavelets with Registax 6, stitched with Autostitch64

and March 11:

I figured i would post this one, it was taken using the A-focal method using the 150p ds and pentax optio T30 camera that utilizes a remote control shutter and has manual focus, this all helps to get a better shot, this is just a single frame 

The second image was taken A-focal and used a red filter then processed with wavelets turned to monochrome

Oh go on then, you did say novices allowed [emoji12]

The first three were taken through the 12" f6 Orion Optics scope and the last two through the Vixen 150ED. Both with an iPhone on an Orion SteadyPix adaptor. I think they were with a 12.5mm BGO so x108 mag at the eyepiece but I'm

sure the 12" perhaps had a barlow in place so probably much higher mag.

A small amount of processing in Photoshop express on the phone. That is my 'imaging rule', no stacking and only processing which can be done on the phone.
