Just about anyone that stood there and wondered it that 1 star or 2, then ask his/her mate can you see 1 or 2 stars up there.

Mizer+Alcor were used to determine eyesight.

Trouble by which ones is the stars change position, guess that 20,000 years back they were different

We can plainly see now on this star map from around 964 that 'Abd al-Rahman Al-Sufi, known in the West as Azophi , was first to record on paper a sketch of a multiple star system .Alcor and Mizar ..
