Great image. I think I might have to join the '3nm' gang.

Thanks Adam. Although very expensive the 3nm filters make a huge difference.

lovely image,

what was the problem with the stars ? i sometimes seem to get elongated stars myself but i thought it might be spacing issues from the back of the reducer to the camera chip.

Thanks Rob.

Firstly it had occurred to me that I had changed my focuser from the original WO to a Moonlite from my FL102S (now sold) and that was causing non orthogonality of the chip and scope axis, so I went out to examine it in case there was something obvious. When I attempted to tilt the camera there was quite a large movement which fortunately was fixed by the tightening of a screw (it was originally tight - 'onest gov). I then did a single 10 min sub of M35 and it appears to be ok (fingers firmly crossed).
