Aurora Alert Sunday Night

There is some aurora activity on amateur radio, Scotland <> Sweden 144MHz since 4pm but not (yet?) very strong.

Anyone in the very north of Scotland with a clear patch might get lucky.

Edit

and there has been a big jump in Bt on the ACE Magnetometer aprox 1/2 hr ago,

Bz is south as well, so give it another about 1/2hr to get here and there may be a better chance for our Scottish chums :)

nuther edit !

AuroraWatch UK was yellow but now back to green.

Got some aurora here but it's not a particularly strong one. Off white waves rolling across the sky then vanishing and starting again.

It might get better but it's freezing out and I need to get up I the morning so I'm not gonna wait and see.
