Slightly frustrating evening - meridian flip required after only a few subs, and then found I'd miscalculated slightly and target had dissappeared behind the roof line after only a few more subs.

Odd that no matter how well set up things are, you cant do photgraphy through brickwork.

How found a better spot to set up for the next attempt so will add some more later.

!0 lights @300s ISO800, masterdark/offset/flat. Processed with Deep Sky stacker and Paint.net

Pleased to receive any tips/comments/criticisms.

Very nice result. Pretty faint object, I always find (visually, I should add, never imaged it)

Thanks. Can't remember the last time I actually looked in the scope! I've got used to seeing stuff on a screen now, and find the idea of peering at an awkward angle through smeared specs not so appealing. My limited range of EPs are now gathering dust!

Have just had a closer look at my final photo above and notice, despite the coma, a number of other DSOs. I've labelled them on a new pic below in case anyone's interested: NGC 898 NGC906, NGC 909.

In fact the more that I look, including at some of my other pics, the more that I see. Man, there's gazillions of 'em!
