Absolutely love the Winter Solstice, e-mails bearing  Astro vouchers arrive from all directions, for me to spend at FLO, it being my birthday.

Already have enough to buy the WO bino viewers, and Christmas still to arrive!

I've just had my solstice dinner (I don't celebrate that other thing). It's that time of year we, in the northern hemisphere, have our tree to remind us there is still life in the middle of winter.

Yes I have seen them on the used market, and all my scopes and eyepieces have been purchased that way

be it ABS or Ebay, but once a year my family, knowing of my interest, give me gifts of vouchers to spend at FLO

and so I am able to indulge myself and buy new.
