Morning remain getting later until around mid-Jan, somewhere about Jan 16, then they "reverse" and it gets lighter earlier.

The evenings have been a little lighter later since about Dec 7, just they are outweighted by the sunrise time. So less sunset to sunrise which is a minimum on the Solstice. Mind you it is close as tomorrow the "extra" light is about 3 seconds.

It is the eliptical orbit we have. Things just are not quite symetric, which is the presumption.
