Actually not in that order either, the hmmph is the fact I have given up looking at the weather forcast as I was beggining to think that grey sky is the new blue/black (depending on the time o/c) and typical that the next forecast clear sky is crimbo day, garrgghhhhhh are you taking the proverbial?

Yeah.... hmmmmph! I'd noticed the weather forecast too... although I have to say it's gone from clear to low clouds, and it will probably change again! Even so I'm still working on how to get a pass out.. Last time I got out to my dark site was about 10 weeks ago and only for a few hours

I actually went out a couple of days ago after I looked up and saw a nice clear sky. The thing is I completely ignored the fact it was blowing a hoolie and once I set up I realised my 10" reflector acts much like a sail. In between gusts I learned what atmospheric turbulence means to the amateur astronomer. Needless to say the lesson was learned fairly quickly and I'm now looking at the same forecast as the rest of you

Wednesda

CO is forecasting good skies for Wed and Thu. Might be worth a shot provided the local morons don't think it's a good time to let off fireworks

Wednesday, xmas dinner (mrs works xmas day), Thursday, xmas day and out with stepsons for a few (gallons probably) and Friday up at inlaws so all 2 of those days are out of the window.
