Meteors and Iridium flares

Recommended Posts

Just getting into using video and motion detect for meteor capture. I know when I'm looking at an aeroplane trace. On,off,on,off etc

Can those more experienced look at these two jpeg composites made from avi's captured last night and confirm or otherwise.

1. Object moves quickly, trace gets brighter and then dims quickly in under 1 sec. Meteor near Gemini

2. Object moves slower, trace gets brighter slowly and  then fades slowly over a few seconds Iridium Flare near Urse Major

Thanks
